T -1

Let's give credit where it's due: my sister Nadya suggested that we do this trip as a way for me to sell my old car in style.

We came up with the following route, opting for Regina & Calgary instead of Saskatoon and Edmonton. Reasons were two-fold: Calgary and Banff are real attractions for us, while Regina is the lesser of the two evils in Saskatchewan. I would love to be proven wrong about the boredom of Regina & Saskatchewan, by the way.

Ottawa-Sudbury-Thunder Bay-Winnipeg-Regina-Calgary-Banff-Kamloops-(potential detour to Kelowna & Okanagan)-Vancouver-(time permitting) Victoria

Trip start is tomorrow, so my mind is running around in circles, trying to tie all the loose ends at work, while making sure nothing is forgotten.

50+ item list of things to bring is a bible.

The car is getting ready. Inverter is installed to power the gadgets throughout the car. Last oil change is today. Rusty spots that people in BC don't ever see are removed to marginally increase the sale value.

Protip: headlight restoration.
